ChristChurch is a very large, Italianate Grade II listed building, situated in the centre of Grantham. The Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, as it was formerly known, was built in 1840. The excellent acoustics at ChristChurch, together with the original Foster and Andrew's pipe organ is in demand by organ scholars as a practice and performance instrument. Many music events are held here, recently the sanctuary hosted a concert by the cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason (who played at the Royal wedding in 2018) with an audience of 500. The Chapel was also attended by Margaret Thatcher (nee Roberts) throughout her youth.
