Christmas begins in South Kesteven this November

Stamford
When it comes to things to do in Stamford this Christmas, on the 24th of November Stamford will host its annual Christmas Festival and lights switch-on. The festival includes an incredible Christmas market full of independent traders exclusive to Stamford, a great place to find unusual Christmas gifts and treats.
Grantham
Those wondering what to do near Grantham will be pleased to hear that the festivities begin in Grantham on Saturday 30th November with a Christmas market and lights switch-on. The market will take place from 10am until 5pm, featuring craft traders, funfair rides, festive music and a Santa’s grotto. At 5pm, the lights will be switched on and Christmas will have officially begun in Grantham!
Bourne
On the 30th of November Bourne will host its Christmas festival, featuring a festive street market, craft stalls, a Santa’s grotto and delicious food. It all ends with the lights being switched on.
Market Deeping
Market Deeping will host a Christmas market on December 1st, a great opportunity for people to find seasonal gifts, immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere, eat speciality foods and be entertained by local groups and performers. Visitors shouldn’t miss the lights being switched on by a local celebrity!
Belton
From November 28th to December 30th, Belton will host its first-ever Christmas lights extravaganza. This is an unmissable chance to see Belton’s famous gardens and trees lit up with glistening, glimmering Christmas lights. This spectacular lights display, the region’s biggest and brightest, is sure to be a truly memorable start to Christmas 2019.
Burghley
From November 28th to December 1st, Burghley will host its biggest ever Christmas fair within its stunning Elizabethan surroundings. Visitors can expect to enjoy festive chalets, heated marquees, exquisite food and fantastic shopping, all housed within Burghley’s Chestnut Courtyard and Brewhouse.
Lincoln
The largest and most renowned Christmas market in the area is the award-winning Lincoln Christmas market that will take place from December 5th-8th. South Kesteven and South Lincolnshire offer a wide range of fantastic accommodation options for the Christmas market.
