All are within easy reach of the A1, so make an ideal itinerary addition on long distance coach tours, a great day trip from surrounding counties or a residential stay to encompass a number of these iconic properties.

Suggested Itineraries:
- A half day visit to Grimsthorpe Castle, near Bourne, with optional lunch and parkland ‘safari’ drive - followed by an afternoon visit to Easton Walled Gardens and a cream tea.
- A day at Belvoir Castle and gardens, with a private tour of the castle and free time to view the six themed formal gardens. Complete your visit with a unique shopping experience at the Castle’s Engine Yard retail village.
- A half day at Burghley with a guided tour of the House (themed tours to select), lunch and free time to explore The Garden of Surprises, the Sculpture Garden and parkland - followed by an afternoon guided walking tour of Stamford, or free time to explore the Georgian town’s stunning architecture and niche shops.
- A National Trust day spending half a day at the majestic Belton House near Grantham with a guided tour of the House and free time to explore the beautiful gardens before lunch - then an afternoon visit to Woolsthorpe Manor, south of Grantham – the farmhouse home of Sir Isaac Newton, the Father of Modern Science.
