Grantham Museum

Open Thursday - Saturday, 10am - 4pm (open from 10 June)


Belton House (National Trust) near Grantham

Open: Gardens, Parkland, Woodland playground, Café for indoor & outdoor seating, dog friendly cafe and Shops - from  10am - 5pm daily ( preferably pre-book online for timed ticket entry - visitors can turn up on the day but no guarantee of access if busy )

 Mansion - open from 19th May, 12.30-5pm. No pre-booking available for house - please wait at mansion entrance for admittance (up to 15 visitors every 15 minutes). No set tours.


JandJ Alpacas, Dry Doddington

Open Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 5pm 

Café open  - with indoor & outside seating and a great paddock view! 

Alpaca Treks & Experiences daily, Wednesday to Sunday (bookable online)


Bennington Carriages, Long Bennington

A wide range of Try Carriage Driving experiences are available, including picnic. Picturesque scenery.

Grantham Canal - Boat Trips

Cruise along one of Britain’s most beautiful canals on 'The Three Shires'

30min trips at regular intervals on select dates -  and 2hr private cruises available any day.

Gardens and grounds open now: Tuesday – Sunday, 11am - 4pm. Tickets in advance online.

The Engine Yard, near Belvoir Castle

Shops open 7 days a week 

Fuel Tank Restaurant open for indoor & outside seating and takeaway: Thursday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm


Easton Walled Gardens, near Grantham

Now open for 2021: Wednesday - Sunday, 11am - 4pm. Courtyard shop & plant sales (free entry) and gardens, grounds and cafe (pay at ticket office)


Fawcett Driving Horses, Dunkirk Farm, Great Ponton

Carriage ride parkland ‘Park Safaris’ at Grimsthorpe Castle near Bourne: 4 days a week from 2 June 2021. Gorgeous Clydesdale horses will welcome you as you join this unique activity – ideal for all ages.


Woolsthorpe Manor (National Trust), near Colsterworth

The Manor, Science Discovery Centre and Cafe opens on 20th May - 11am-5pm daily.

Manor entry will be by small tour only this year - please pre-book your timed tickets.





Bourne Heritage Centre, Baldock’s Mill, Bourne

 Open Saturday and Sunday, 2pm - 4pm (open from 22 May)


Delaine Bus Museum, Bourne

Re-opens 12 June. Open on second Saturday of the month (June - October '21) : 12.00pm - 4.00pm.

Heritage Bus Ride (approx 30mins) at 1.30pm, featuring one a bus from the 1950s or 1960s

Light Refreshments .

Stamford Shakespeare Company, Tolethorpe Hall, near Stamford

Summer season of plays in June, July and August at the Rutland Open Air Theatre. Performances take place on an open air stage set within an enchanting woodland glade facing a 600-seat, covered auditorium.

Burghley, near Stamford

Parkland: open all year from 7am - 6pm, free entry

Gardens:   The Garden of Surprises and the Sculpture Garden are open daily. Advance garden booking is required with time options of: 10:30am - 1pm or 2pm – 4:30pm. New tickets will be released every Monday in advance of the following week.

Garden café open daily 10.30-4.30 with indoor & outside seating.

Garden Shop open daily 10.30-4.30pm.

Courtyard Gift Shop now open - on Wed to Sun 10.30-5pm

Burghley House open 19 May to 31 Oct '21, on Wed to Sun 10.30am-5pm. Pre-booked timed ticket entry essential, at 30 mins interval.

Orangery restaurant re-opens 19 May. Open Wed to Sun 10am-5pm.

Over 70 dealers bring together a selection that spans the centuries and of every genre you can imagine.

Open: Monday to Saturday 10am to 5:00pm & on Sundays/Bank Holidays 10:30am to 4:30pm.


Stamford Town Guided Tours

Now available, meeting outside Stamford Town Hall: Thursday (11am) Friday (2pm) Saturday (11am) Sunday (11am) (£7.50 per person. Max 5 guests plus tour guide)


Stamford Sights & Secrets Tours

Tours available from 1 June to end Sept 2021 on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11.00 am - and special themed tours on specific dates (see website). Meet at Stamford Arts Centre.
