Join us this summer at Grimsthorpe Castle for family friendly Outdoor Theatre with Quantum Theatre! This performance is open air, so please pack up a picnic, a blanket, or low-backed chair, and dress up for the great British weather! This event will go on regardless of weather. Cancellation only in the event of dangerous conditions. The March Hare Tea Trailer will be open from 2pm and throughout, serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks. Belton Community Festival

After a successful debut in 2024, Belton's Community Festival is back! We’re opening up access to art, heritage, and education once again, with a whole host of activities, talks and demonstrations running throughout the weekend. From dance and art, to music and demonstrations, a wide range of local groups and organisations are coming to Belton to showcase the amazing work they do as part of our local community. Discover more about what’s happening on your doorstep and feel inspired. Grab a treat from one of the food vendors while you explore the variety of stalls on the day. Support the local community and visit the arts and crafts stalls, with a range of handcrafted, locally produced items on offer. Complete with a bursting event schedule on the stage to keep you entertained and an array of activities over the weekend, including a Big Belton Butterfly Count sponsored by Lincolnshire County Council, there’s something for everyone. The festival will run on the 13 and 14 Sep, from 10am to 5pm, and free entry to the entire estate, including the mansion and gardens, is being offered across both days. Wednesday 1st October 10am – 12pm Join our very talented Senior Gardener Sharon for this hands-on workshop where you will learn how to select, prepare and plant various types of spring bulbs in your own planter to take home for your garden display. Learn which bulbs are better for different garden conditions, your desired bloom time along with aesthetic preferences. Covering techniques like bulb lasagne planting for continuous blooms, choosing bulbs for different seasons and naturalising bulbs in lawns you will then move on to caring for your bulbs including watering, feeding and dealing with pests. 12 spaces available. £65 per person Refreshments included and all materials provided. This workshop will be taking place outside but undercover so please wear suitable clothing and shoes.

Saturday 4th October 2025 9am £20 Join Monty Cholmeley, trained woodworker and arboriculturist at The Coffee Room for a welcome drink and pastries before embarking on an exclusive Autumn walk around Easton Park looking at the trees that grow there. This is a great time to look at established foliage and flowers, bark patterns and to enjoy the variety of trees that have been planted in the Gardens and Park over the last 300 years. Easton Park is not usually open to the public, so this is a unique opportunity to see the beautiful landscape which surrounds the Gardens. We are sorry but dogs are not allowed on the tour.
