Stubton Hall Wedding Showcase Open Day
Stubton Hall is an inspiring setting for meetings, celebrations, and everything in between — with beautiful surroundings, delicious food and space to think, talk, and enjoy being together. Situated just minutes from the A1 and mainline train stations at Grantham and Newark, Stubton is easily accessible. Every corporate or private event they host is bespoke, so you can tailor the day exactly to your needs. On Sunday 4th October, Stubton Hall will open its doors from 11am to 3pm to all. Aveland History Group
The Aveland History Group are a Local History Group for the villages and towns of the ancient Aveland Wapentake. The Wapentake covers an area of the South Lincolnshire fen edge from Bourne in the South to Osbournby in the North and the villages either side of the A15 West and East. They host fantastic events for all including: 13th October – Spend a day with the group visiting Nottingham Trent University to view their lace pattern archive followed by a curated tour of the Lace Collection at Nottingham Castle. 17th October – Lacemaking Workshop with Ryhall Lacemakers Dyke Village Hall 10.30am – 1.30pm. Syston Park Farm Pumpkins
Each year Syston Park Farm grow more and more pumpkins. All different shapes, sizes and colours. Quirky gourds, delicious squashes and shiny orange pumpkins perfect for carving. Put on your wellies, grab a barrow and head out into the fields to find your perfect pumpkin! Mannakin Open Day
Discover the Mannequins of Mannakin Hall on Saturday 10th October, from 1pm to 5pm. Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history of Mannakin Hall, once the dining quarters for American soldiers during World War II. Stamford Town Council Spooktacular
On Sunday 25th October, from 1pm to 3pm, Stamford Town Council are hosting their wonderful Spooktacular event in Stamford. Halloween Enchanted Adventure Trail & Crafts at Belvoir Castle
On Saturday 24th October from 9.30am to 5pm you can visit Belvoir Castle’s Halloween trail. It is returning to the Adventure Playground and Animal Park, with a new run of craft sessions launching in the Retail Village at the point where the trail concludes. The adventure starts well before that, though. Across Belvoir’s adventure playground, spell ingredients have been hidden among the climbing frames and walkways, setting children the task of tracking them all down to brew a counter-curse. Every child who completes it earns the official title of Belvoir Castle Curse Breaker, along with a treat to mark the achievement.
