Tiny Steps Petting Farm

Tiny Steps Petting Farm is great for families, groups and individuals of all ages. Go and enjoy the beautiful, friendly animals in a peaceful countryside setting and you can even take your own picnic.
Tiny Steps Petting Farm offers a therapeutic animal petting and feeding activity for everyone to enjoy. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, 10am to 3pm.
Exotic Pet Refuge

The Exotic Pet Refuge rescue and rehabilitate exotic animals from private owners, animal charities, sanctuaries, and zoos from Aberdeen to Southampton. The sanctuary is home to over 300 animals, including monkeys, meerkats, raccoons, lynx, owls, foxes, reptiles, snakes, and an alligator. They provide a safe haven for these animals to live out their days in peace and comfort. The Exotic Pet Refuge have six open days a year, go and meet some of the amazing animals they look after!
Upcoming dates are 28th June, 9th August, 13th September and the18th October. The Exotic Pet Refuge is open from 10am to 4pm and they have free parking, hot and cold refreshments, stalls, craft tents, and animal feeding times.
Ancaster Leisure
Ancaster Leisure is in Ancaster, near Grantham. Wood Lodge, Ancaster, Grantham, NG32 3PY. The Centre closes at 5pm unless advanced bookings are made but activity takes place between these times: Monday: 9:00 – 20:00, Thursday: 9:00 – 20:00, Friday: 9:00 – 17:00, Saturday: 9:00 – 18:00 and Sunday: 9:00 – 17:00.

Ancaster Leisure is Lincolnshire’s largest activity centre and has been family-run since 1991. Combining experience, safety, and high-energy fun. Inclusive and welcoming for beginners, families, and adrenaline seekers. They pride themselves on a family-friendly environment, giving the best adventures for their customers. Activities include an Air Rifle Range, Airsoft, Archery, Bowling, Karting, Laser Tag and Paintballing.
Tallington Lakes

The leisure homes have fabulous views of the 205 acres of clean spring water fed lakes, which are ideal if you want to water ski, wakeboard, jet ski, dinghy sail, windsurf or canoe. You can even walk on the water in one of the water zorbs.
There is also a dry ski slope. If all that sounds too energetic you can always get some retail therapy in the Pro Shop or relax with something to eat and drink at the bar and restaurant. If you do not own a lakeside home but wish to stay you can bring your own motorhome, caravan, or tent.
The park is open all year round, however, certain activities are seasonal and we would advise you to check beforehand.
Imagination Town

Imagination Town was created to enable children to explore and play in a safe environment. The Role Play Centre consists of real-world type settings including imaginative Police Station, Fire Station, Veterinary, Doctor’s Surgery, Safari, Salon, Construction, Shop, Café with cooking facilities, Picnic Park, and a road track to race around on wheeled vehicles. Each station has its own uniforms which children can put on and become one of the characters.
The centre is open seven days a week, generally from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Bourne swimming pool

Bourne Swimming Pool is one of the UK’s largest outdoor heated pools, operated and maintained mostly by volunteers since 1990, with qualified lifeguards on duty during opening times, all other work is undertaken by trustees and a dedicated group of volunteers.
Facilities at Bourne Swimming Pool include toddlers pool & fountain pool, extended lawns with seating and picnic tables, toddlers play area, indoor changing rooms, toilets and showers, disabled changing room with shower and toilet, baby changing facilities and a takeaway café serving hot & cold drinks, snacks, sweets and ice cream.

The play area is designed to help your children develop their physical, social and mental skills by giving them a safe area in which to practice balancing, climbing and jumping whilst having masses of fun.
Your children will burn off loads of energy and end up feeling stronger, fitter and more confident. Tackling the obstacles and crawling through the tunnels and roller squeezes will give them a real sense of achievement so they can return home tired but happy!
The Yard Soft Play Centre

The Yard Soft Play Centre is open seven days a week, 9:15 am–2:45 pm.
The Yard is an indoor soft play centre & café dreamed up by two local mums who craved a place that accommodated & appealed to adults and children alike. They see the yard as a bit of a sanctuary for families, a welcoming safe place to relax and play with your children. Children have the freedom to explore the large play structure safely in their own environment, under 2’s have a designated space to explore, and you grown-ups can enjoy fresh coffee, grilled cheese sandwiches & sweet treats sourced from local suppliers.
