Valentines Events in South Kesteven this February

Love is in the air, and so we are sharing some of the events happening this February in South Kesteven to celebrate Valentines Day.

Whether you are looking for somewhere to have a traditional Valentine’s meal, or something a little different then South Kesteven has something for everyone!

Love is not always about romance; it can also be about your friendships and that is why Wyndham Park, Grantham is celebrating love and friendship this Valentine’s Day. Wyndham Park visitor centre is hosting an open drop-in crafting session on the 13th and 14th February, this is open to all ages and visitors can make their own valentine or friendship card. The visitor centre shall be decorated for the occasion so make sure you pop by.

Fulbeck Craft Centre has a special Valentine’s menu from Wednesday the 14th February until Saturday 17th February, this must be pre booked. They are also hosting a Valentines Day card workshop on the 9th February, there are only six spaces available so be sure to secure your spot quickly. The Centre often hosts events and craft days, as well selling beautiful and unique gifts from talented makers, so this is one to watch in the future!

The Angel and Royal in Grantham are hosting a special evening on the 14th February, this includes entertainment from the talented singer and pianist Matt Swainsbury and a three-course meal, this sounds very romantic indeed.

Stamford Sights & Secret Tours are celebrating love and romance with their valentine walking tours on Wednesday the 14th February and Saturday 17th February. The walk starts at the Stamford Arts Centre at 11am, you can pre book online or pay on the day. The town was declared a conservation area in 1967 and has over six hundred listed buildings of mellow limestone including five medieval churches. Unanimously considered a charming, character-filled, and picturesque destination, Stamford is the perfect backdrop for a walk on Valentine’s Day.

The Iron Horse Ranch House in Market Deeping are hosting a wonderful evening with a special Valentine’s menu and live music from the lovely Bon & Kirsty from Kingpin on the 10th February, who you may recognize from local bands HALO and Blackout UK! Make sure you book beforehand as this is not one to miss.

If you are looking to do something a little different to celebrate Valentines Day, or maybe your partner is an animal lover, then valentines at J and J alpacas is the one for you. From Wednesday 14th February to Sunday 18th February, they are hosting a special afternoon tea as well as alpaca trekking experiences. This is subject to availability so make sure you book before you go.

Finally, The Griffin Inn in Irnham is hosting a super fun night on Wednesday 14th February. Join Sir Jamie and the team for a six-course extravaganza, there is also the option of staying the night in an estate cottage or a pub room!
